Thesis Title: An ethnography of long distance running
About
I am a senior lecturer in sport studies within the Centre for Event and Sport Research (CESR) at Bournemouth University. My research interests lie in sport tourism, Olympic studies and the impacts of sport events. I have a particular interest in the use of ethnography within sport and event studies, especially those studies which explore the lived experiences of endurance athletes at sport events.
