About

My principle interests are skeletal taphonomy, patterns of decomposition and skeletal disarticulation, mass/collective burials and Andean funerary practices.

I have a background in both human osteology and archaeological fieldwork. My research mainly looks at understanding patterns of decomposition, skeletal disarticulation, and taphonomy within funerary contexts, as a means to broaden our understanding of the consequences of post-mortem treatment, decomposition, taphonomy and human manipulation on the final lay-out of archaeological contexts.

I'm also interested in the biology of past Andean populations.
