About

I'm a Freelance Osteoarchaeologist (human and animal remains), I completed my MSc in 2008 from Bournemouth University.

My main research interests within osteoarchaeology are:
Anglo-Saxon human remains in Britain, focusing on Sussex.
Palaeopathology and anthropology.
The domestication of pigs within the archaeological record, specifically deposits in the Roman & Medieval era's.
Skeletal trauma and the skeletal manifestations of disease.

Current projects I'm working on:
The Battle of Lewes research project.
Community Archaeology projects.
Animal tooth re-analysis from Beddingham Roman Villa, East Sussex.
