About
My primary research interest is the use of technology in all level of sport to allow more data to be gathered by coaches to enhance performance.
I am currently applying this to a project for paralympic swimmers using hermetically sealed micro-electronics that record a swimmers movements and display vital information to the coach without the need for expensive camera setups.
I have an active interest in other areas of sports ranging from participation to events organisation, and with a background in electronics and computing, I am interested in new uses for software and electronics.
In my spare time I compete at archery, previously representing Great Britain, at international events.
